The city government applies KRM and Romokalisari “Adventure Land” entrance tickets

Surabaya (ANTARA) – The Surabaya City Government (Pemkot) is implementing entrance tickets for visitors to two tourist areas, namely the Mangorve Botanical Gardens (KRM) and Romokalisari “Adventure Land” as of early 2024.

Head of the Surabaya City Food and Agriculture Security Service (DKPP), Antiek Sugiahrti, said that the implementation of the levy via entrance tickets at KRM and “Adventure Land” Romokalisari conforms to Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 7 of 2023 concerning Regional Taxes and Regional Levies.

“As of January 1 2024, this place is one of the objects subject to levies, so we will comply with the provisions,” said Antiek to ANTARA by telephone in Surabaya, Wednesday.

Collecting fees from visitors through entrance ticket fees aims to develop tourist locations located in the West and East Surabaya areas, especially in terms of services for visitors.

“Our development continues to refer to master plan existing ones, so we will gradually improve them so they can be busier,” he said.

Apart from that, the incoming DKPP levy is also intended to maximize the community empowerment program for poor families (gamis) according to directions from the Mayor of Surabaya, Eri Cahyadi.

“One of our programs to eradicate gamis is to provide activities that can increase the income of gamis, so we hope they can get out of poverty,” he said.

Based on data from the Surabaya City DKPP, the tariff set by the KRM is IDR 10,000 per person for adults and IDR 5,000 per person for children provided the height does not exceed 100 centimeters.

Meanwhile, on weekends and national holidays, the KRM ticket price for adults is IDR 15,000 per person and IDR 5,000 per person for children.

The special student ticket price is set at IDR 3,000 per person, but must first be submitted through the relevant educational institution.

Apart from that, another requirement is that teachers and students are residents of the city of Surabaya as proven by an ID card, family card or student card.

DKPP also opened packages with four different categories, namely “platinum” IDR 85,000 per person and IDR 90,000 for the weekend, with facilities for one round of golf cars, ATVs, boats and water bikes. “Gold” package Rp. 60,000 per person and Rp. 65,000 for the weekend with ATV, boat and water bike facilities.

Then, the “silver A” package or “water” category is IDR 45,000 per person and IDR 50,000 for the weekend with boat and water bicycle facilities and “silver B” or the “land” category is IDR 55,000 per person and IDR 60. 000 for the weekend, with one round golf cart and ATV facilities.

Furthermore, the “bronze” package costs IDR 50,000 per person and IDR 55,000 for the weekend with ATV and boat facilities.

Group packages at KRM are set at IDR 9,000 for adults and IDR 4,500 for children with a maximum height requirement of 100 centimeters. On weekends and national holidays the ticket price is IDR 13,500 for adults and IDR 4,500 for children.

However, you can get a 10 percent discount on this rate with a minimum requirement of 100 people and you can show proof of being a member of the group.

Meanwhile, the levy rate charged to visitors to “Adventure Land” is IDR 10,000 per person for adults and IDR 5,000 per person for children with a maximum height of 100 centimeters.

On weekends and national holidays, the ticket price for adults is IDR 15,000 per person and IDR 10,000 per person for children.

Meanwhile, student tickets are IDR 3,000 per person with the condition that you apply for a ticket through an agency, especially for teachers and students who are residents of the city of Surabaya as proven by an ID card, family card or student card.
