More than 40 REMAX Australia brokers attended the network’s annual summit on the Gold Coast, hearing from leadership coaches, finance experts, and industry figures. The two-day event brought business owners together to share insights and discuss the current market.
Joel Davoren, REMAX Australia’s managing director, described the annual summit as a cornerstone event for the network, allowing participants to engage with top speakers and connect with peers in the industry.
Davoren highlighted that the candid discussions among brokers about their own challenges were equally impactful as the scheduled presentations, stressing that grasping key priorities for leadership in today’s market is vital for business growth.
Among the speakers was Ben Crowe, a specialist in leadership development and high-performance coaching, who urged attendees to tackle obstacles directly. Daniella Gri, TACTIC’s head of workplace strategy, argued that innovation thrives through people while effective environments amplify success.
A panel featuring Rob Honeycombe, a property rent roll expert, and Steve Marinucci, founder of Marra Finance, provided diverse insights alongside Davoren. The summit’s second day included Amanda Vaughn, Domain Group’s Queensland state leader, discussing industry trends, and Chris Kohler, Nine’s finance editor, analyzing current financial shifts.
Hayley Van de Ven, CEO of REMAX The Limitless Group, wrapped up the event by exploring leadership strategies, negotiation tactics, and strategies for agent development, reinforcing her conviction that outstanding results stem from deliberate effort.
The conversations happening outside the formal agenda were just as valuable, according to Joel Davoren. He said the energy, momentum, and forward-thinking approach from the leaders flows through to their teams, and the willingness of business owners to share experiences and offer support to one another speaks volumes about their integrity as professionals and the strength of the network.
The 2026 REMAX Broker Summit ran from October 18 to 20 at the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort and Spa. It was an opportunity for business owners to learn from each other and from industry experts, and Joel Davoren considered it a success.
